Residential Manager Live-In - IDD

About the role

InReach provides supports and services for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families. The Residential Manager will provide supervision and support in a residential home setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with the training needed to help them care for themselves.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as cooking, housekeeping, personal care and hygiene, and in-home leisure activities.
  • Oversee residents' health care.
  • Facilitate community integration and provide community recreational activities when available.
  • Document daily goals and activities.
  • Dispense medication and monitor dosages and overall healthcare of customers.
  • Oversee the residential home budget including food and gas.
  • Weekly menu planning.
  • Grocery Shopping.
  • Provide transportation using a minivan or 12-passenger van.
  • Implement ISP for each IDD individual.
  • Schedule and supervise 3-4 other part-time relief staff working at the house.
  • Plan recreational activities.
  • Report maintenance requests.
  • Maintain the confidence and confidentiality of customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • 6 months of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities required. (paid or volunteer)
  • Prior group home and 6 months of supervisory experience preferred; ALL experience must be verifiable.
  • Valid driver's license and a maintained safe driving record.
  • Ability to perform essential job duties, physical tasks, and mental tasks.

Qualifications and Licensing Requirements

Pay

$50,000 guaranteed annually. Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 sign-on bonus payable in three installments: $500 after completion of training, $500 after 6 months, and $1,000 at 12 months.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 6am-10am & 2pm-10pm
Friday: 6am-10am & 2pm-6pm
Sunday: 6pm-10pm
Hours can fluctuate based on needs.

Location

Charlotte, 28226 and surrounding areas.
