About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor that is a career-minded professional with a commitment to excellence. Claremont Companies is a privately owned and closely held real estate investment, development, and asset management firm with over 60 real estate assets.
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of residential facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning efficiently, managing maintenance staff, and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of residential facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and low voltage equipment.
- Manage facility maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment and facilities.
- Provide training and support to staff on maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
Requirements
- Excellent leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience in managing teams effectively.
- CPO certified
- EPA certified
- Proficient in low voltage systems, electrical work, HVAC, and industrial maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices and principles.
- Experience in maintenance management, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Ability to maintain a safe working environment while adhering to regulatory standards.
