Residential Loan Processor

Responsibilities

• Review and process residential loan files
• Collect required documentation from borrowers
• Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and third-party vendors
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and internal policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience for conventional loans and government insured loans
• Experience with DU (Desktop Underwriter), LP (Loan Prospector)
• Knowledge of conventional and government lending programs, guidelines as well as regulations
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and loan programs (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, etc.)
• Knowledge and understanding of all Compliance and Legal Regulations including, but not limited, to Reg B., Reg Z. FACTA, FCRA, TILA, RESPA and HMDA
• Good organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage a pipeline of 25+ loans
• Computer knowledge in MS Office Software (e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook)
