About the role
The Structural Engineer will be part of a growing team working on residential and light commercial projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities
- Design residential and light commercial structural projects from concept through final construction documents.
- Prepare structural calculations and details for commercial projects.
- Create and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Assist with Request for Information (RFI), submittal reviews, design reviews, and job site support.
- Cook up with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and contracts.
- Perform quality assurance reviews and support project delivery.
Requirements
- EIT designation with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of structural engineering experience.
- Experience designing wood and masonry structures, framing systems, and foundations.
- Intermediate to advanced AutoCAD proficiency; Revit experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Florida Building Code and International Building Code.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Skills
- AutoCAD proficiency.
- Revit experience (a plus).
- Understanding of building codes.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay
$70,000–$80,000 Base Salary + Quarterly Bonus
