Residential HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems.
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and electronic equipment to troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Understand and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, boiler, chiller, cooling tower, pump, drive, and chemical mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Work independently and efficiently, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and accurately.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from managers and leadership.
• Generate customer invoices and payments at the job site.
• Show excellent customer service skills, both with customers and office staff.
• Maintain proper inventory of parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Organize and document all equipment needed for each scheduled job.
• Communicate effectively with customers about the work being performed and assist them in making informed decisions.
• Show attention to detail and document all necessary information when working on a system or unit.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reside in Tennessee at the time of hire and maintain Tennessee residency throughout employment.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening are required.

Schedule

Lead HVAC Residential Service Technicians will be able to take their trucks/vans home and will be dispatched from there.
