Residential HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Are you a skilled HVAC technician who takes pride in diagnosing problems correctly, working efficiently, and delivering exceptional service? We're looking for both mid-level and highly experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians who want to be rewarded for technical performance, not pressured to upsell customers.

Our technicians participate in an incentive program that rewards efficiency, productivity, and quality workmanship. Even our lower-performing technicians earn an additional $11,000+ annually on top of their base pay, while top performers have the potential to earn up to $145,000 per year in total compensation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential issues before they become major repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and performance concerns
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience during every service call
• Document findings, repairs, and recommendations accurately
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure exceptional customer service

Requirements

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical schematics
• EPA Certification
• Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your service calls effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• NATE Certification
• Experience with airflow diagnostics and system performance testing
• Knowledge of sheet metal practices and air balancing

Pay

Base Pay: $32.00 - $48.00/hour depending on experience, certifications, and skill level, with the potential to earn up to $145,000 per year in total compensation.

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with overtime opportunities
