Residential HVAC Preventive Maintenance Specialist

About the role

You start your morning alongside a seasoned Lead HVAC Technician, planning the route and reviewing the day’s maintenance calls across the Charleston area. On site, you assist with diagnostic checks, help resolve issues as they surface, and keep detailed service notes so every system visit is documented. Between appointments, you make sure customers understand the work performed and feel the care and professionalism that define our team. When special projects come up, you jump in—supporting the Lead and ensuring every task reflects our reputation for superior service.

What you’ll handle

• Work directly under the supervision and mentorship of a qualified Lead HVAC Technician
• Avoid troubleshooting across residential heating and cooling systems
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs for every task completed
• Uphold our standard for outstanding customer service in every interaction
• Tackle additional duties as needed to support the team
• Contribute to special projects as assigned

What sets you up for success

• 1–3 years of hands-on HVAC maintenance and service/install experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional attitude and a team-first mindset
• Comfort taking direction from Lead workers and Supervisors
• Reliable, on-time attendance each workday
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Commitment to comply with ALL SAFETY RULES
• Fundamental safety knowledge of tools and surroundings, including proper ladder use
• Comfort working in tight areas: attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops
• Proficiency with a tape measure
• Ability to carry 50 lbs overhead with assistance
• Drive to grow strong customer service skills
• Willingness to invest in your own tools

Nice to have

• HVAC Trade School Certificate (not required)
• EPA Universal Certification (not required)
