Mission Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, a Southern Home Services Company, is seeking a dynamic HVAC Lead Install Technician to join a thriving business that values work-life balance and cares about its employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the installation, upgrade, and replacement of HVAC systems in residential properties.
  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure high-quality and efficient service delivery.
  • Handle complex installations, provide technical expertise, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, manage inventory and tools, and contribute to team training and development.
  • Install, cut, and thread pipes (copper or PVC) and handle high and low voltage wiring.
  • Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in the shop, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with homeowners.
  • Perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Ensure adherence to appliance standards, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and service standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Lead HVAC Installer experience, ideally within the residential market, showcasing hands-on technical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Holds valid EPA certification for compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Possesses advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to resolve complex HVAC issues.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and enthusiastic approach with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
  • Climb ladders, access attics, navigate tight spaces, drive, enter crawlspaces, push, carry, pull, use hand tools, and perform fine detail work.

  • Stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
