Residential HVAC Installers

About the role

We are Universe Home Services, a proud local business serving homeowners across Nassau and Suffolk counties with expert HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical solutions. Located in Farmingdale. Now Hiring: Full-Time Skilled HVAC Installers.

Responsibilities

• Install boilers, central air systems, mini-split units, and furnaces.
• Replace/Install any heating, air conditioning, or refrigeration equipment or complete systems.
• Test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
• Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats, and timers.
• Inspect and test systems after installation to ensure proper operation and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance.
• Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns.

Requirements and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years prior experience as a Residential HVAC Installer.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license with clean driving records.
• EPA Certification.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• Basic understanding of low-voltage control wiring and high-voltage connections.
• Teamwork oriented.
• Ability to work in crawl spaces and attics.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers.
