What You'll Do
As a Residential HVAC Installation Technician, you'll install heating and cooling systems in residential homes while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, indoor and outdoor equipment, ductwork, ventilation systems, refrigerant lines, and other residential comfort components while maintaining exceptional workmanship on every installation
- Manage installation projects from start to finish by preparing jobsites, fabricating and installing ductwork as needed, wiring and connecting equipment, testing system performance, and verifying proper operation before completing each project
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Work closely with fellow installers and office staff to ensure every customer receives an outstanding installation experience
Requirements
- Experience installing residential heating and cooling systems or strong mechanical aptitude with a desire to continue developing installation skills
- Working knowledge of HVAC equipment, ductwork, refrigerant piping, system components, and installation procedures
- EPA Certification, at a minimum of EPA Type II
- Dependable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills, professionalism, and a customer-first attitude
- Eager to continue learning and stay current with industry standards
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
