About the role
The dedicated front line staff and administration support team play crucial roles in providing the best programs and services. This position supports the agency's mission through various cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Cleans restrooms, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, mirrors, floors, and metalwork.
- Sweeps and cleans floors using brooms, mops, and vacuum cleaners for carpets.
- Cleans kitchens, including sinks, countertops, stovetops, microwaves, refrigerators, and tables/chairs.
- Cleans living rooms, dining rooms, family rooms, dens, and bedrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and wiping furniture.
- Handles special orders such as polishing, waxing floors, washing dishes, and loading/dismantling dishwashers.
- Empties wastebaskets and transports recyclables to disposal areas.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaners.
- Wipes marks off walls and dusts woodwork.
- Washes and/or wipes inside windows, door panels, partitions, sills, etc.
Requirements
- Ability to learn proper cleaning techniques using green cleaning products.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
