Residential Home Build - Framing

Responsibilities

• Construct the complete structural framing package including floor joists, wall framing, roof trusses or rafters, sheathing, and structural hardware.
• Install engineered beams and headers per structural plans.
• Pass framing inspection.
• Snap chalk lines for wall layout.
• Install sill plates.
• Frame exterior and interior walls.
• Raise, plumb, and brace walls.
• Frame second floor if applicable.
• Set roof trusses or rafters.
• Install roof and wall sheathing.
• Frame window and door openings.
• Install straps and hold-downs.
• Obtain framing inspection.
