About the role
UCP Heartland is seeking compassionate and committed Residential DSPs (Direct Care Professionals) for the Des Peres location.
Schedule
- Wednesday: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Saturday: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Sunday: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- 36 hours weekly
- Note: All shifts are awake shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
- Assist with personal hygiene
- Facilitate fun activities
- Follow medical orders and administer medications
- Provide choices to clients for daily activities, entertainment, and community outings
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Successfully complete and maintain assigned driver training
- Minimum of one weekend shift per week
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to consistently work in a professional, cooperative manner with all agency clients and personnel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation
- Female applicants only due to client request
- Must complete 5–7 days of mandatory training at the corporate office, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM – 4:30 PM
