Responsibilities

  • Coaching clients with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Preparing meals, and snacks
  • Shopping for food
  • Assist with and supervise meal preparation by current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations
  • Ensure that all safety regulations are followed and the facilities are maintained safely and cleanly
  • Aid with client laundry, household cleaning and other tasks as needed
  • Perform a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is in a clean, orderly, sanitary and attractive condition

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience providing non-professional services within a mental health, healthcare, or social service agency
  • One (1) year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical setting, including knowledge of therapeutic diet preparation
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and a current ServSafe Food Handler Certification
  • Meet agency driver eligibility criteria
  • Must be able to physically lift and carry food service supplies and equipment without restriction

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent

Schedule

Working Hours/Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM PM shift (occasional 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM shifts required)
