Residential Energy Product Strategy Intern - MN, WI

Join Xcel Energy as a Residential Energy Product Strategy Intern, working in Minnesota or Wisconsin. You’ll support trade strategy, research coordination of third‑party resources, and program satisfaction (PSAT) while gaining exposure to how Xcel delivers residential products and services that align customer energy needs with environmental targets. The internship begins on May 24 2027 and may extend beyond the initial term based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Trade Strategy project coordination and support
• Research coordination and compilation of third‑party resources
• Program Satisfaction (PSAT) project coordination

Minimum Requirements

• Current student, junior or higher
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Construction Science, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related area
• Ability to work full‑time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part‑time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) and commute to the designated work location in‑person per the hybrid work policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including experience working with data to support decision‑making
• Demonstrated leadership through coursework, student organizations, work experience, or community involvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation development and facilitation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Pay

The anticipated starting base pay is $20.90 to $22.10 per hour.
