Residential Energy Auditor
About the role
This is a field-based role around Boston, MA. Reliable transportation is required with mileage reimbursement. You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers, installing energy-efficient equipment, conducting energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications, and other technical data-gathering activities within a defined territory. You will support Account Managers in influencing stakeholders to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits or new construction, provide technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications, and troubleshoot technical problems and issues while recommending solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct residential energy audits.
- Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements.
- Provide input and status updates to program staff.
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications.
- Act as a local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
- Travel throughout a defined territory.
Requirements
- 0-1 year of relevant industry experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- OSHA-10 certification preferred.
- Must meet all DOT qualification requirements (if applicable) and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship or support for immigration status or work authorization.
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Pay
Target compensation: $25.00/hour. Compensation range: $20.70 - $31.00/hour (USD). Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, and certain degrees or certifications.
