About the Role
This role offers up to a $2000 sign-on bonus. As the Residential Electrician (QA Technician), you will physically inspect residential houses to ensure all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and functioning correctly according to local and NEC codes, ready for inspection.
Responsibilities
- Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
- Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify wiring placement.
- Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.
- Maintain safety standards.
- Communicate clearly and organize tasks effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
Skills
- Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
- Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Physical dexterity and clear communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
