Residential Electrician Quality Assurance

About the role

As the Residential Electrician (QA Technician), you will physically inspect residential houses to ensure that all lighting, devices, and equipment are wired, installed, and working correctly according to local and NEC Codes standards and are ready for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
• Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to identify where wiring is or should be placed.
• Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.
• Maintain safety standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.

• Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
