Residential Electrician - NEC Standard (Jacksonville, FL)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to local NEC codes.
• Inspect and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures in residential new construction homes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprints to identify where wiring is or should be placed.
• Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems.
• Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability and willingness to operate a company vehicle.
• Self-motivated and driven to get the job done to best of ability.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Must have physical dexterity.
• Able to communicate clearly.
• Able to organize tasks effectively.

Education And Experience

• 3 – 5 years of fast-paced residential electrical new construction experience required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.

Physical Requirements

• Must possess own hand and power tools to execute electrical jobs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times.
