Residential Electrician - MUST Have DE Journeyman's License

About the role

Electricians receive 2–4 service requests daily via our appointment center and are dispatched in a fully stocked vehicle to complete most residential repairs and service work on the first call. Electricians report to the office at least once a week for stock replenishment, meetings, and training.

Work is primarily independent and includes replacing plugs, switches, lighting; adding surge protection; panel changes and upgrades; adding new circuits; installing energy-efficient products/devices; and troubleshooting/resolving electrical problems.

We are also seeking self-starting leaders ready to embrace the installation, setup, connection, and networking of residential wireless home-building systems such as thermostats, security systems, doorbells, indoor/outdoor lighting, and cameras.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical repairs and service work on the first call
• Replace plugs, switches, and lighting
• Add surge protection and new circuits
• Complete panel changes and upgrades
• Install energy-efficient products and devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems
• Install, set up, connect, and network residential wireless home-building systems (thermostats, security systems, doorbells, lighting, cameras)

Requirements

• Valid DE Journeyman’s License
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a licensed electrician
• Positive, customer-focused attitude
• Willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
• Confident, organized, and efficient “can-do” personality
• Trainable and eager to learn and expand skills
• Willingness to mentor and teach others as part of a team
• Flat-rate service work experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required

Pay

High hourly rates of $32 – $40 per hour, commensurate with experience and productivity, plus bonus incentives.
