About the role

At Mister Sparky Electric, we’re looking for an experienced residential electrician who wants to do quality work, be treated like a professional, and have an opportunity to grow. This is residential-only electrical work with no commercial work. You’ll start hourly, with the opportunity to move into a Team Leader position as you demonstrate the technical skills, leadership, and experience needed to take the next step. You’ll have the support of a team, steady residential work, and the opportunity to grow with a company that values experienced electricians. Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical service, repairs, and installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Complete quality work while following safety standards and electrical codes
- Help support and mentor other technicians as you grow into leadership
Requirements
- Several years of residential electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Journeyman license or applicable Virginia electrical credentials preferred
- Knowledge of residential electrical codes and requirements
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Desire to grow into a leadership role
