Residential DSP in Odenton, MD

About the role

Bay-CSS is looking for a reliable Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Odessa, MD. The DSP will provide care and support to individuals with disabilities during specified shifts.

Schedule

• Wednesday: 3pm to 11pm
• Thursday: 3pm to 11pm with overnight shifts (11pm to 9am)
• Friday: 3pm to 11pm with overnight shifts (11pm to 7am)

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily activities including meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care during assigned shifts
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for individuals with disabilities
• Foster independence and personal development through engaging activities
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to deliver high-quality care to residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Successful completion of a background check
• Ability to complete all required trainings in a timely manner

Pay

$21/hr with $2 weekend differential
