RESIDENTIAL DSP, Glendale, (FF/F) Sa, Su, Mon 4P-9P, Thu 11A-2P

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
• Aid with personal hygiene
• Facilitate fun activities
• Follow medical orders and administer medications
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Lift and transfer (including ceiling lifts, repositioning in wheelchair, etc.)
• Adaptive transportation
• Shift documentation using Set-Works
• Perform general housekeeping
• Offer choices for daily activities to promote entertainment and community outings

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers' license
• Clean driving record and successful completion of assigned driver training
• One weekend shift per week required
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Professional, cooperative demeanor with all Agency clients and personnel
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer proficiency
