Responsibilities
- Provide physical assistance with daily tasks
- Aid with personal hygiene
- Facilitate fun activities
- Follow medical orders and administer medications
- Offer choices for daily activities to promote entertainment and community outings
Requirements
- Female applicants only due to client request
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Drivers' license
- Clean driving record and successful completion of assigned driver training
- Minimum of one weekend shift per week
- One year of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in a customer service field
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
- Professional and cooperative behavior with all agency clients and personnel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 days of mandatory training at corporate office
- Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM - 4:30 PM
- All UCP Heartland schedules are awake shifts
- Available schedules: Friday 3PM-8PM and Saturday 7AM-3PM
