About the role

The Residential Counselor is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in a residential setting. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to helping individuals achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and support to residents
• Conduct regular check-ins with residents to assess progress and address concerns
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document resident interactions and progress in a timely manner

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience working with individuals in a residential setting
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
