Residential Counselor (RC)

About the role

The primary focus is to provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities
• Monitor and record individual progress and behavior
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
• Communicate effectively with families and other team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for making a difference in people's lives

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification
