Residential Counselor - Lancaster Diversion - PRN

About the role

Provides structure and support for LADV residents within program guidelines. Exercises leadership during shifts for specific LADV programs.

Responsibilities

• Teaches and supervises daily living skills for LADV residents.
• Safeguards milieu safety and security for LADV residents.
• Implements treatment interventions for specific residents according to individualized needs.
• Completes progress notes, shift summaries, and other essential documentation.
• Guides other RC staff and assists in implementing programming.
• Monitors and manages resident behavioral crises and implements interventions.
• Assists in managing resident schedules as needed.
• Provides medication assistance to residents.
• Maintains a positive working relationship with staff and a respectful living relationship with neighbors and the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Human Services or Nursing experience preferred.
• Preferred knowledge and experience in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention techniques.
