About the role

Roxbury Design & Build is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager to lead high-end residential remodeling projects in Los Angeles, particularly in the Hollywood / Beachwood Canyon area. This role involves hands-on leadership, managing subcontractors, protecting schedules and budgets, communicating with clients and design teams, and ensuring projects move smoothly from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project management for high-end residential remodels, renovations, and related residential construction projects.
  • Manage active job sites from preconstruction / planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, subcontractors, materials, documentation, and client updates.
  • Cook up and manage project schedules using Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Track budgets, bids, change orders, RFIs, purchase details, and project documentation.
  • Maintain detailed daily logs, progress notes, photos, and jobsite records.
  • Support punch list completion and jump in hands-on when needed to keep work moving.
  • Represent Roxbury Design & Build professionally with clients, homeowners, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of residential construction project management experience.
  • Proven experience managing residential remodels or renovations from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, subcontractor coordination, change orders, RFIs, and field documentation.
  • Ability to read plans, drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractor bids and managing vendor/subcontractor performance.
  • Strong communication skills with homeowners, designers, architects, subcontractors, and internal leadership.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities across active projects.
  • Comfortable working from job sites and coordinating remotely without a central office.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially around luxury finishes, client homes, and finished materials.
  • Able and willing to assist with light hands-on work, punch list support, site setup, material handling, and field troubleshooting as needed.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, walk active construction sites, climb ladders, and work in typical residential construction environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between Los Angeles-area job sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with high-end or luxury residential remodels.
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Spanish bilingual skills.
  • Experience managing projects in the $500K–$5M range.
  • Experience with ADUs, custom homes, residential additions, or ground-up residential construction.
  • Existing subcontractor relationships in the Los Angeles market.
  • Familiarity with Los Angeles permitting, inspections, local building codes, and residential construction logistics.
  • Experience working with high-profile clients, privacy-sensitive projects, NDAs, or luxury homeowners.
