Residential Construction Project Manager
Job Overview
Griffin Decks & Covers is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead residential deck and outdoor living projects from pre-construction through final completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values craftsmanship, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Review project plans with homeowners to align scope, expectations, and timelines.
- Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and project progress.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and passes required inspections.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules to drive timely completion.
- Create punch lists and coordinate crews for efficient project closeouts.
- Procure materials and coordinate with suppliers to prevent delays.
- Provide consistent weekly updates to homeowners, maintaining transparency and professionalism.
- Lead and support crews and subcontractors to uphold company standards.
- Address project challenges proactively with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Maintain documentation and utilize project management software as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in residential construction project management.
- Experience with decks or outdoor living projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
- Able to effectively manage crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client-service skills.
- Experience using construction management software or related systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year, based on experience + Commission (Salary Potential $125,000+).
- Commission Structure: Performance-based commissions tied to successful project completion and performance metrics.

Work Schedule
Full-Time: Monday – Friday
Hybrid schedule (field-based jobsite visits throughout the Greater Denver Area with administrative responsibilities as needed)
Work Location
Greater Denver Area, Colorado
Projects primarily located within the Denver metro region
Local travel between job sites required.
