Residential & Commercial HVAC Systems Technician

About the role

Hall's HVAC is seeking a skilled Residential & Commercial HVAC Systems Technician to join our team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide satisfactory solutions
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all local regulations and industry standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, air handling, and control systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using common HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Skills

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Hands-on experience with HVAC systems
