Dark Current Electric is a growing company focused on residential and commercial electrical work in the East Valley, Arizona area. This is a project-based 1099 contractor position. As the company grows, the goal is to transition the right people into W-2 employment.

Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, service work, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Complete all work safely and in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, contractors, and other trades.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Accurately document work performed and communicate job progress as required.
- Identify problems, communicate solutions, and take ownership of your work.
- Represent Dark Current Electric professionally on every jobsite.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential and commercial electrical experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and electrical diagrams.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physical tasks associated with electrical work.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
- Active Arizona R-11, C-11, or CR-11 contractor license.
- Experience with service work and troubleshooting.
- Generator installation experience.
- EV charger installation experience.
- Other specialty electrical experience.
