Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial properties
- Perform electrical work for new construction and remodeling projects, including system upgrades and modifications
- Collaborate with construction teams to provide accurate electrical construction estimates and support project schedules
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine electrical system layouts
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective, code-compliant solutions.
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, panels, and other electrical devices. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe work environment at all job sites
- Participate in field work activities, including utilizing hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment as needed
- Clock with project managers, inspectors, customers, and other trades
- Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and service reports
- Travel to various job sites as required
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid Electrician license (Journeyman or higher) preferred but not required
- OSHA 10 certification (minimum requirement)
- Scissor Lift and Boom Lift certification (or ability to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time
- Travel required
- Over time, on-call work, or weekend availability may be required based on project needs
