Position Purpose

The Residential Clinical Director provides strategic and clinical leadership for all residential programs, ensuring alignment with agency goals and organizational values. This role oversees, coordinates, and manages all aspects of residential clinical services to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
  • Guide clinical model fidelity, support workforce development, and partner closely with operations to Maintain seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate with agency leaders to strengthen outcomes, optimize workflows, and reinforce a culture of clinical excellence across the continuum of care.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or other related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Licensed in IL as an LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or higher.
  • Certified Addiction/Drug Counselor (CADC) or equivalent preferred.
  • 5 or more years of clinical experience.
  • 3 years or more experience in providing clinical supervision in behavioral health treatment.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
  • Prioritized proven ability in program development and implementation.
  • High level of professionalism, judgement, and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to use and interpret clinical data.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.

  • Essential Responsibilities include working scheduled hours and any additional hours deemed necessary by leadership, overseeing and managing assigned staff, providing leadership in the development of annual goals for all assigned staff, serving as a liaison between Rosecrance and key stakeholders, ensuring all state regulations and Rosecrance Policy Procedures are maintained, completing all necessary monthly and quarterly reports by the appropriate timelines, monitoring and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, presenting workshops, lectures, and training to clients, families, staff, and community groups, facilitating team meetings and case reviews, managing all related contracts and completing monthly reports as required, developing and maintaining professional and supportive relationships with all staff, leading creative and innovative solutions to improve performance and enhance clinical competencies, delivering on-time expectations and constructive feedback to direct staff and others in a supportive and vision-enhancing manner, aligning and integrating the efforts of all program areas to ensure a unified approach that advances the organization's vision and mission, ensuring implementation and compliance with regulatory standards for all service standards, maintaining professional licensure and certification, as applicable, supporting and promoting the vision through participation in community or professional programs and events aligned with or useful to the promotion of the vision, mission, beliefs, and values while always promoting a positive image, networking with colleagues in the area on a cooperative and collaborative basis to advance the vision and mission, serving as a member of the Administrative Team and participating in all team meetings and activities, exhibiting actions and making decisions that align with the Rosecrance Code of Conduct and within the framework of the law, serving as a member of the team and participating in all team meetings, duties, and activities as assigned, serving as a role model to others and demonstrating excellent company stewardship, understanding and adhering to all policies and procedures governed by federal and state guidelines regarding confidentiality and abuse reporting; embracing the Code of Conduct/Ethics policies, assuming additional responsibilities as requested by leadership, performing other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Skills

Starting Pay $82,669.56. (based on education, experience, and credentials)
