Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment within the residential program. Provide client-driven services that ensure quality and excellence in client care and the facilitation of client recovery.

Responsibilities
- Available to cover shifts as assigned at any residential program, including traveling between programs.
- Facilitate ADL (Activities of Daily Living) skill-building for residential living and community integration by supervising and teaching clients daily medication routines, budgeting, self-preservation skills, transportation, etc.
- Provide opportunities for skills practice and collaborative learning.
- Participate on a multi-disciplinary team in the development and implementation of client treatment plans and progress reviews, engaging clients in the planning and evaluation process.
- Provide, coordinate, and monitor treatment services for assigned clients, including contact as prescribed in the treatment plan, coordination of care, and documented implementation of activities with clients, families, staff, consultants, and other agencies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of care by comparing service outcomes with the treatment plan.
- Provide shift coverage, including household maintenance (cleaning, meal preparation), crisis resolution, conflict resolution, and symptom management.
- Attend supervision and team meetings as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of agency policies and procedures.
- Work first and second shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
- Ensure residential programs are safe and secure by monitoring locks and resident whereabouts during shifts.
- Schedule and facilitate treatment plan meetings, utilizing assessments, diagnostic results, and client/family input to develop and document treatment plans.
- Screen for substance abuse, provide assessments, treatment planning, counseling/education, and referrals as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Remain on shift until appropriately relieved by another staff member, which may result in working two consecutive shifts as designated by a supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Maintain flexibility toward work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to perform routine household chores involving lifting and bending.
- Ability to communicate with clients and staff face-to-face and by telephone.
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification, first aid training, and monitor clients' vital signs as required.
- Maintain a valid chauffeur’s license and ability to use a program van or personally owned vehicle to transport clients to appointments, emergencies, and evacuations.
Skills
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Complete all clinical and administrative documentation as required.
- Write correspondence, reports, care plans, and other documents effectively.
- Present information in one-on-one and group settings to clients and staff.
- Access emergency resources to manage crisis situations and ensure safety.
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret instructions in written, oral, and diagram form.
- Complete all required training and certifications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and legibility.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Physical/Environmental Demands
- Regularly required to use hands to handle objects, office equipment, or controls, and to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb.
- Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally works in outside weather conditions.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
Pay
$18.00 - $27.13 per hour.
Schedule
- 2nd shift, rotating schedule.
- Alternate weekends and holidays required.
- Evening daily hours (8 hours per shift).
- Driving required.
