Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Affords training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
- Performs various administrative, clerical, and related support activities.
- Monitors and charts observations and incidents related to clients' behavior.
- Provides guidance, motivation, and encouragement to promote recovery.
- Assists in self-administration of medication.
- Supports obtaining GED’s, resume building, job placement, and may transport clients to/from part-time jobs.
- Serves as a mentor and assists in group and outing activities.
- Knowledgeable about substance misuse and issues faced by chemically dependent individuals; basic understanding of behavior management.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
