Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Affords training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
  • Performs various administrative, clerical, and related support activities.
  • Monitors and charts observations and incidents related to clients' behavior.
  • Provides guidance, motivation, and encouragement to promote recovery.
  • Assists in self-administration of medication.
  • Supports obtaining GED’s, resume building, job placement, and may transport clients to/from part-time jobs.
  • Serves as a mentor and assists in group and outing activities.
  • Knowledgeable about substance misuse and issues faced by chemically dependent individuals; basic understanding of behavior management.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
