Residential Care Technician (Women's Outreach Program)

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Affords training in basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
• Performs various administrative, clerical, and related support activities.
• Monitors and charts observations and incidents related to client behavior.
• Provides guidance, motivation, and encouragement to promote recovery.
• Assists with self-administration of medication.
• Supports clients in obtaining GEDs, resume building, job placement, and transportation to part-time jobs.
• Serves as a mentor and assists in group and outing activities.
• Shares knowledge about substance misuse and issues faced by chemically dependent individuals; demonstrates basic understanding of behavior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
