About the role
Supports residents in daily activities, provides companionship, and assists with medication management.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming
- Monitor residents' health and report any changes to supervisors
- Plan and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Document resident care activities and progress
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and moving of residents
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
