Residential Care Specialist - Floater

About the role

Provide compassionate care to children in foster care. Assist in the intake process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to determine the best placement for children in foster care.
• Interview potential foster parents and complete background checks.
• Document all interactions and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate regularly with social workers and other professionals involved in the child’s case.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and foster care guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in child welfare or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
