Position Summary
Wake Robin is seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Residential Care Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide nursing leadership and person-centered care in our Residential Care neighborhood.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery and oversight of excellent nursing care to residents.
- Development and implementation of service plans.
- Completion of required State assessments and reports and compliance with State regulations.
- Medication delegation to Certified Resident Care Assistants (CRCA).
- Responsible for medication management (stock, ordering, organization of medication servers and supply room).
- Oversee daily workflows for all shifts.
- Complete pre-admission evaluations.
- Work with providers and interdisciplinary team to coordinate admissions and transitions of level of care.
- Serve as a key point of contact for residents and families via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Support onboarding, training, and supervision of CRCAs.
- Act as liaison with the Wellness Clinic team (MDs, DNP, RN, Medical Assistant).
- Support scheduling of resident medical appointments with external providers.
- Attend and participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, Care Conferences, and Resident Council meetings to ensure consistent communication and follow-through on care plans and resident needs.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) experience.
- Meaningful experience in long-term care, demonstrating a clear interest in furthering a career in this setting.
- Shows initiative and curiosity, with a genuine desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a resident-centered community in a leadership role.
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
