Residential Assistant

About The Role

Burke is seeking a Residential Assistant (RA) to provide care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This role focuses on promoting independence, ensuring safety, and maintaining a structured, home-like environment while supporting daily living activities.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and assist with day-to-day living activities
• Provide active treatment services and training as scheduled
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
• Complete required documentation including activity notes, progress notes, and medication inventory
• Support individuals in developing life skills and independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable and flexible to work various shifts

Work Schedule

Rotating schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off
Must be available to work all shifts as needed:
7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Pay

$30,850 annually
