We're looking for a Licensed Architect to lead the design and execution of custom luxury single-family residences in Miami Beach, Florida. You'll work directly with principals, clients, consultants, and contractors to produce homes that are architecturally distinctive, technically rigorous, and built to last. This is a 100% on-site position in Miami Beach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design across all phases: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration
  • Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings for custom single-family homes
  • Collaborate with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, and interior design consultants to coordinate a complete set of documents
  • Manage the permitting process with local jurisdictions, including zoning, HOA, and code review
  • Conduct site visits, respond to RFIs, review submittals, and support construction administration through project close-out
  • Work directly with the principals to translate vision into buildable design
  • Create Moldboard and Interior Design Sets
  • Maintain project budgets, schedules, and design quality across multiple concurrent projects
  • Stay current on building codes, materials, sustainability practices, and luxury residential trends

Requirements

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program
  • Knowledge in Interior Design
  • Active architectural license in Florida
  • 5-8 years of professional experience, with a meaningful portion focused on custom single-family residential
  • Demonstrated portfolio of high-end residential work
  • Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion or equivalent rendering tools, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Deep working knowledge of the Florida Building Code, including high-velocity hurricane zone requirements where applicable
  • Strong detailing skills and a refined design sensibility
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting to sophisticated clients and managing consultants
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing design quality or schedule control

Pay

$120,000 to $150,000 DOE
