About the role
This position functions as a part of the clinical team in a culturally sensitive consumer residential treatment facility to provide rehabilitation services to consumers who are experiencing emotional and behavioral complications and addictive disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide rehabilitation services to consumers in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Engage in group and individual sessions to help consumers break the cycle and triggers of their addictions.
- Offer life skills and parenting support to consumers with children.
- Participate in individual or group counseling, alcohol/drug education, and case management based on the needs of the individual and the outcome of their assessment.
- Support children at high risk of homelessness, currently homeless, or who have run away from home, focusing on protection from abuse, sexual exploitation, and assault, and preventing involvement in criminal activity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License.
- At least 25 years old with a clean driving record for the past three (3) years.
Qualifications
- For RA I: High school diploma or the equivalent (GED).
- For RA II: RA I qualifications, plus Three (3) years of regular, full-time specialized work experience providing direct consumer care to culturally diverse consumers experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Pay
Starting Wage: $19.29 per hour, DOE
Schedule
- Regular Full-Time (RFT): scheduled 40 hours/week
- Regular Part-Time (RPT): scheduled 32 hours/week
- Regular on Call (ROC): scheduled 24 hours/week
- Temporary on Call (TOC): on call, up to 29 hours/week
