Responsibilities
- Responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
- Conducts regular "rounds" throughout the entire property.
- Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
- Affords assistance with new intakes, completes room searches, monitors mealtimes, etc.
- Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
- Maintains supervision of supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
- Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
- Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
- Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
- Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
- Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
- Affords ability to deescalate.
- Affords ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
Qualifications
- Ability to observe, identify, document & inform others if physical, cognitive & behavioral changes are a concern.
- Understands the field of addiction, mental health & recovery.
- Prior experience in a Behavioral Health setting is a plus.
- Open to learning about & understanding ASAM criteria guidelines, Stages of Change, 12 step recovery, etc.
Pay
$17.00/hr.
