Residential Aide

About the role

Under the direct supervision of Shift Supervisors and Administrator, you will implement standardized behavior management programs for clients residing at Casa Colina Apple Valley or Casa Colina Lucerne Valley programs. You will supervise residents, provide a safe environment on a 24-hour basis, and deliver therapeutic intervention to develop and/or maintain functional daily living skills of the residents.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Valid California Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record (as defined by Casa Colina’s Automobile Insurance Carrier’s requirements)
• Knowledge of basic reactions of people with traumatic brain injury conditions
• Ability to practically describe behaviors observed in the environment
• Working knowledge of crisis prevention intervention
• Must obtain criminal clearance from the Department of Justice before employment or initial presence in the facility

Pay

$23.00–$23.50 per hour
