Residential Aid - 8 Hr - CMME-LTC Resident Care

Responsibilities

The Residential Aide assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

Qualifications

• Residential Care Specialist 1 (RCS -I) or Personal Support Specialist (PSS) Certification required within 120 calendar days.
• Placed on state registry within 120 calendar days.
• Current BLS within 60 days and maintain current.
• Possess knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital, assisted living facility, or physician’s office, preferred.
