Residential Advocate Lead
Facility: Northside Behavioral Health
Location: Tampa, FL
Status: Hourly
Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30 am- 3:00 pm
Weekend Work: None
On Call: No
- Assists, supports, and educates residents in activities of daily living to ensure functional independent living.
- Completes admission documentation, living skill assessments, treatment plans/updates, progress notes, activity notes, and discharge assessments.
- Ensures proper physical maintenance of housing, completes inspections, environmental rounds, and maintenance requests.
- Educates/monitors residents regarding appropriate use of medication.
- Completes HUD documents per HUD standards.
- Communicates with treatment team including case managers and HUD specialist regarding changes in condition and tenancy concerns.
- Completes incident reporting.
- Facilitates community meetings and acts as liaison between management and residents regarding meeting topics.
- Completes all documentation in accordance with policies/standards.
- Assists residents in managing emergencies, preparing for weather emergencies.
- Responds to emergencies according to program procedures.
Requirements:
- Basic cooking skills.
- Required Experience: 2 years caretaking OR customer service OR behavioral health.
- FL Driver's License (Coverage requires drivers to be 21 years old with 2 years driving experience (drivers over 69 may require a Driver’s Road test.)
- Bachelors - Human Services or Related field accepted in lieu of 2 years of experience in Healthcare.
- BLS (within 60 days)
- First Aid (within 60 days)
- Food Handler
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
