Residential Admissions & Engagement Coordinator
About the role
The Residential Admissions & Engagement Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for prospective youth and their families, managing the referral, admissions, and intake process for the Mary Hill Youth and Family Center. This role requires exceptional customer service, relationship building, and collaboration with referral sources, guardians, and internal team members.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact from the referral to admission process with clients, guardians, and referral sources
- Develop and foster relationships with referral teams and ensure ongoing engagement with referral partners
- Manage referral status, ensuring timely and accurate admissions review and processing
- Setup and participate in pre-admission interviews
- Collaborate with clinical leadership on the review and approval of admission applications
- Coordinate and communicate with internal team members, families, and referral sources regarding admission updates and decisions
- Coordinate all admission documentation and logistics, including verifying payor source, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and timely
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a smooth transition for clients entering the facility
- Maintain census tracking and admission status updates
- Aid in social media content and marketing efforts for the facility
- Provide facility tours, respond to inquiries, and address admission related concerns
- Promote teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement in the admissions process
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities
- Utilizes databases and Electronic Health Record systems for accurate client documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, mandated reporting requirements, and professional ethical guidelines
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, healthcare administration or another related field (preferred)
- An active license in the state of Ohio in social work or professional counseling (LSW/LPC) (preferred)
- 3 years of experience in healthcare admissions or behavioral health (required)
- Experience with electronic health record systems (preferred)
- Experience working within an OMAS class facility (preferred)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.85 to $28.02 per hour, based on experience.
