About the Role
Rasmussen University is seeking dynamic Part-Time Adjunct Instructors to teach within the Nursing program at our Eagan campus. This role allows you to continue working in the field while engaging the next generation of nurses. No prior teaching experience is necessary; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned, either on campus or at off-site clinical partner locations.
- Use effective teaching strategies and multiple techniques to model appropriate learning skills and create an environment conducive to learning for a diverse student population.
- Create high levels of student engagement through activities, community building, and student-centered learning, including synchronous learning sessions.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Documented experience in Maternal-Child roles.
- 1-year clinical experience as an RN (2+ years preferred).
- Proof of active, unencumbered RN licensure.
- Official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution.
- Active CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- Applicable faculty immunization documentation.
Schedule
Part-time, flexible campus and clinical-based scheduling, generally consisting of 10-15 hours per week per course.
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for these roles is between $38.00 to $60.00 per hour, based on duties, location, skill set, experience, and other business needs. This range is subject to change.
