Residential Activity Coordinator

Essential/Core Job-specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and coordinates daily, weekly, and monthly recreational, educational, leisure, and special event activities that promote client engagement, socialization, wellness, and quality of life.
• Updates activity schedules posted on each Residential unit as changes occur.
• Conducts and facilitates individual and group activities in accordance with programmatic guidelines, including clubs, games, arts and crafts, fitness and sports, life enrichment activities, holiday events, community outings, and other recreational programming designed to encourage client participation and positive peer interaction.
• Completes required documentation of group participation, attendance, and client response before the end of each shift.
• Completes individual progress notes for contact with clients outside of group as appropriate or directed by the clinical team.
• Maintains inventories of activity equipment, games, supplies, and program materials.
• Orders supplies as needed with approval from the Program Manager and assists with identifying new programming resources.
