Activity Coordinator - Assisted Living

About the role

The Alice Center – Assisted Living Program is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to plan and lead recreational and social activities for residents of our Assisted Living Program (ALP). The ALP provides a supportive residential setting that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Develop a variety of meaningful activities based on residents' interests and preferences.
• Encourage voluntary participation in activities.
• Help foster social connections within the facility and the greater community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current continuing education credits pertinent to the activities profession.
• Must be eligible for certification as an Activity Director or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or have two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in an age-appropriate social or recreational program, including one (1) year of full-time experience in a patient or resident activities program in a healthcare setting.

Pay

$19.61–$29.63 per hour
